Rising Senior (17 yrs old) in High School, clarinet student Michael R. performed with 14-year-old prodigy Rachael K. in a live masterclass for Claude Frank, Director of the Marlboro Festival, showcasing Bartok’s Contrasts - Clarinet/Violin/Piano. I had the opportunity to perform with the 'Summer Trios Festival' String Quartet, stepping in for a Juilliard Faculty Member who was ill. The Principal Violinist is the Concertmaster of the New Jersey Symphony, and I enjoyed playing on an 18th Century Guarneri Violin.
